Stamped in Bloom
This scarf is a tribute to my mother’s stamp collection, and a symbol of blossoming fortune.
The floral motifs are inspired by a series of vintage stamps, reimagined as flowers in full bloom - a sign of prosperous new beginnings. I chose to paint them blooming not only to honour my mother’s journey from Vietnam, but to reflect the grace and strength with which she embraced change. Her unwavering hope became a seed of good fortune that continues to grow.
This scarf carries her story and her spirit - one of resilience, renewal, and radiant optimism. It is also a personal wish for my own path to be filled with auspicious opportunities, meaningful connections, and the courage to flourish wherever this journey leads.
This is a celebration of the beauty that grows from change and the fortune found in embracing the unknown.
